These terms govern your use of Talefern. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Taleferngenerates a new, personalised bedtime story each night for a child, based on a profile you provide, and delivers it by email and the web app. Stories are created by AI with automated safety checks; while we work hard to keep them wholesome and age-appropriate, they are generated and we can't guarantee every one is perfect. You remain the adult in the room — please review what your child reads.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and a parent or guardian setting up the service for a child in your care. You're responsible for the profile information you provide and for supervising your child's use.

Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans are one family subscription with a line for each child, billed monthly or annually. Family (sibling) pricing is applied automatically.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period, then reverts to the free tier.
• Plan changes take effect immediately and are pro-rated — upgrades are charged the difference, downgrades credited.
• Prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes where required.

Gifts

Gifts are a one-time purchase of a plan for a set number of children and months. They're delivered as a code the recipient redeems (no card needed) and are non-refundable once redeemed.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the service — no attempting to break security, no using it for anyone other than the children in your care, and no reselling access.

Your content

The stories we create for you are for your family's personal, non-commercial use. You may keep, print and share them within your family.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Talefernisn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.
